I, Micki, get to stay home today by myself because Salem has declared a flood day! I feel awful for the people with water in their homes, but I am excited to have a morning to myself, terrible, terrible, terrible! I hope all of you are safe and dry. The river in Silverton is high, and several homes and a nursing home had to be evacuated. However, most of the river is still below flood stage and schools here are in session. So, the kids are in school, Rhett is at work, and I get to play!
